Super Food Smoothie

I simply love starting my day off right with this superfood smoothie! It provides just the right amount of nutrition and vitamins that you need to feel full and energized until the long awaited lunch break. This smoothie has helped to get rid of the mid-day headache I would often get at work from lack of protein and nutrients, or sugary breakfast bars and cereals. It is easy to make, delicious, nutritious, and easy on the wallet. I love preparing it ahead of time to make my morning breakfast simple and quick each day.

Super Food Smoothie

Ingredients:

3/4 cup Frozen Mixed Berries

2 Large Kale Leaves

1 tsp. Chia Seed

1 tsp. Fresh Ground Ginger

2 tbs. Vanilla Protein Powder

1/2 cup Pure Organic Orange Juice (not from concentrate)

1/2 cup Unsweetened Almond Milk

Instructions:

Place berries, kale, chia seed, ginger, protein powder, orange juice, and almond milk in a blender. Blend until smooth. Pour and enjoy!

Time Saving Tip: Put pre-measured berries, chia seed, ginger, and protein powder in small freezer bags. Remove and put in a blender when ready to use. Add kale, orange juice, and almond milk. Blend, pour, and enjoy!
