I’ve always enjoyed celebrating NYE because it seems to draw out the holiday season juuust a little longer. Whether going out or staying in, I love to embrace all things glitter and gold to ring in the new year. To make things easy for all of us, I’ve put together a quick NYE guide that includes a few fun and easy DIY projects as well as outfits for any occasion. Simple NYE DIY Projects

Wrap Your Wine Bottles

I added a bit of NYE glam to the wine and champagne bottles by wrapping them in construction paper that I picked up at Michael’s Craft Store. I used glitter stick-on numbers to spell out the new year and a gold sharpie to write!

Cover It With Confetti

Confetti really makes New Years Eve feel like New Years Eve, doesn’t it? I picked up this bottle of gold confetti at Michael’s Craft Store, and just started sprinkling it on all the things! You can also find so many great, gold-themed party supplies here!

Blow Up Balloons

Forget the helium! Blow up a few balloons and scatter them throughout your space. They look just as pretty on the floor!

Create A Photo Backdrop

The simple photo backdrop used in this post was created with a few simple items! First, I purchased white wrapping paper from Hobby Lobby and laid it on the floor against a white wall in our garage. Then, I purchased a white baseboard from Home Depot and set it on top of the paper to make it look more polished and flush to the wall. Add some confetti and balloons and your guests can capture their evening in a fun and unique way!

Dress Up Your Drinks

When I’m trying to dress up my drinks for the holidays, I often opt for cranberries, greenery, and fun paper straws. Take it a step further and roll your cranberries in water and then sugar to make them look frosted! This year I also created a fun champagne topper that says ‘sip sip hooray!’. After printing and cutting them out, I glued the toppers onto a BBQ skewer and placed them in the flutes. CLICK HERE to receive your free printable on 12/30.
