I love making our home feel festive this time of year. Adding just a touch of holiday décor to each room makes the season feel so special and memorable. One of my favorite ways to style spaces for the season is to add festive greenery and flower arrangements! I have quite the collection of vases (I’m such a sucker for a pretty vase) and like to sprinkle fresh arrangements throughout our home. Not only do they look beautiful and smell amazing, but it’s a pretty affordable way to decorate as well!
I recently grabbed a few decorative accents from The Home Depot. They have such a stunning collection of furniture and home decor! We purchased our coffee table from The Home Depot not too long ago, and it’s one of my favorite pieces in our home! Last week I bought this glass vase and decorative tray set to style for the holidays. The classic shape and design of this vase can be used all year long to showcase seasonal foliage, which is just another reason I’m drawn to buying vases! I get so much use out of them and don’t have to swap them out when a new season rolls around.
Today I’m going to show you how to create your own holiday bouquet using my tape trick and this glass vase from The Home Depot! Follow the steps below and you’ll feel like a florist in no time 😉
1. Fill your vase with fresh, cold water
2. Create a woven pattern using clear tape on the top of your vase.
3. Add in large greenery to create a foundation for your bouquet.
4. Fill with seasonal accent flowers and smaller greenery. I love using berries too!
5. Keep your arrangements out of direct light and add cold water every few days to keep it fresh!
