A Minimalistic Approach To Bed Styling

I’m often drawn to bed designs with rows and rows of pillows. I love the way all the colors, patterns, and textures work together to create a near piece of art. But since our bedroom is actually used each night, which requires me to actually make the bed each morning, I wanted to style our bed in a more practical way by keeping the pillows to a minimum.

The key to achieving a designer look with a minimalist approach comes down to two things: quality and texture! Minimalistic design can become a bit dull if it lacks interest and dimension. The absence of ‘things’ in the space requires the pieces in the design to stand alone while making a statement. This is why product selection is so important!

I styled our master bed for spring featuring this gorgeous set of wool throw pillows and blanket from The White Company. The pillows are pretty enough to stand alone and the throw is the perfect weight for cooler spring nights. I also linked all out other bedding which is perfect for spring! Loving the linen duvet cover and deep pocket sheets. Can’t recommend them enough!
