I recently updated our throw pillows for the upcoming season and wanted to share my pillow combos with ya! Mixing and matching warm tones and pretty plaids has been my go-to look this year. Linking mine and sharing a few tips for selecting and styling throw pillows in your home below!

Throw Pillow Styling Tips
- Mix patterns and solids to create a look that flows. My rule of thumb is 1 pattern, 1 stripe, and 1 solid!
- You can use a variety of sizes like 24″, 22″, and 20″ for contrast, or keep them all the same for a cohesive look. All of my pillows are 20″ covers with the 22″ insert. If you get my Amazon insert, make sure to size up!
- Alternate between combinations of 2 and 3 when styling a sofa.
- Allow the pillows to blend with each other by selecting colors in the same tone or ‘color family’. It’s also good to reflect the colors in one pillow with another one in the room! Look at the graphic below. Notice how the color of the dark blue pillow is also seen in the printed pattern pillow? This creates a uniform look throughout the room without being too matchy-matchy!
