Rugs are such an essential part of every design since they ground the space and set the tone for the overall look and feel of the room. How to Pick the Perfect Rug:
1. Determine the Size – Use the search tools on the Boutique Rugs website to narrow your search starting with the size. A tip I highly recommend for this step is to search ‘rug size for queen bed’ or insert your specific bed/sofa size. When you search images online it will give you visuals to help select the size that’s best for your specific space! I opted for the 7’10”x10’3” because I like it to fill the room without going wall-to-wall.
2. Select a Color – I prefer setting a neutral foundation with a rug by selecting ‘white’ and ‘tan & ivory’ in the search tools. A neutral rug gives me flexibility in the design of the space. You could also choose to make a statement with your rug by selecting a bold color or pattern!
3. Look for Customer Photos – Once you narrow your search by size and color, scroll through the rugs and open your favorites in a new tab. Then, look for customer photos of each rug! Check out the reviews section for any helpful images of the rug in real life. Boutique Rugs has many customer photos in the reviews section and on their Instagram feed as well.
