October is coming to an end which means the holiday season is right around the corner! The holidays are such a special time, and I’ve always believed it’s the little things that make them so special. Styling seasonal decor, setting the table, and turning on music can help create a festive atmosphere that allows everyone to embrace the holiday.
With Thanksgiving and Christmas coming up, I though I’d share some table styling tips and inspiration. Here are a few guidelines I like to keep in mind!
- Use two types of greenery down the center of the table to create a focal point for the tablescape
- Layer a small and large plate to set a foundation for the place setting
- Remember the utensils are set in alphabetical order!
- Add height to your table with candlesticks
- Incorporate seasonal fruit and veggies that reflect the look of the season
