Decorating the Christmas tree is one of my most cherished traditions of the entire holiday season. There’s just something about the glow of the lights and sparkling reflection in the ornaments that make holidays at home feel incredibly special.

When it comes to decorating the Christmas tree, it’s not just about the end result… it’s about the experience! Making a memory out of this event is such a special way to embrace the season with the whole family. Since I already decorated one of our trees, I thought it would be fun for Jordan, Weston, and I to do our other one together.

I started by gathering some gorgeous ornaments from The White Company. I chose these ones because they are sparkly and stunning, but not dangerous for Weston to be around. I opted for a mix of festive ornaments so our tree would capture the look and feel of the season. I’m so happy with how it turned out. Not to mention we had made a memory while we were at it! 🙂

Here are a few more tips for making the most of your tree trimming experience:

Holiday Tree Traditions:
1. Gift a new ornament to your family members each year. Growing up, each person in my family would get a new ornament each year. Over the years, we each had a box full of our own ornaments that were special and unique. As we decorated the tree, we would reminisce about the meaning of various ones as special memories would come to mind! I love the ornaments from The White Company because they are classic and chic which means they will look great on your tree for years to come.
2. Get cozy! Treat the who family to a new pair of pajamas or loungewear. The White Company has the best collection of loungewear! I recently got the suede boot slipper and double faced pajama bottoms and they’re SO comfy. Safe to say I’ll be living in these.
3. Make a fancy display of holiday treats! Set out cookies and drinks for you and your family to enjoy. And be sure to use pretty serveware to make the moment extra special! The White Company has so many gorgeous options to choose from.
