Throw pillows are such a staple when it comes to seasonal decor. Even if you just buy one new pillow each season, you’ll slowly build your collection and be able to style your home like a pro.
Spring Pillow Covers
Over the years, I’ve worked to create a pillow foundation for our home. This consists of an assortment of neutral pillow covers that I can use all year long. That neutral foundation allows me to mix in a few seasonal pillows every few months to create a whole new look that captures the feel of the season in an affordable way.
I recently purchased a few new covers that are perfect for spring and summer, so I thought I’d share them with you! They’re so stinkin’ pretty 🙂 Shop the links to my new spring pillows, and some other ones I own or have my eye on at the top and bottom of this post!
Pillow Fast Facts
All of my pillows are 20″
You can use 20″, 22″, or a mix of the two on your sofa
Work in small groups of 2-3 pillows on each side of the sofa. The same applies for sectionals. Create small groups!
Size up one on your inserts. For example, I have 20″ covers and use this insert in 22″
Mix a variety of patterns and textures to create contrast. An easy way to do this is to blend a solid, stripe, and pattern. Also be sure to pay attention to the sizes of the patterns. Mixing large and small patterns
