Before I started blogging, I didn’t think much about decorating for Christmas until after Thanksgiving. But since I need time to order, style, photograph, and edit all of the content, I need all the extra time I can get! I like to have my order placed by the middle of October so I can get the content going and bring you lots of great inspiration in time for the holiday season.
Even if you’re not a content creator, It’s helpful to shop early when it comes to holiday products because the season is so short and things sell out early. The stores stock limited amounts of each item, so it’s one of those first-come, first-serve scenarios. If you purchase prior to November 1st, you can be sure the items you’re looking for will be in stock. I also like ordering early because it allows a little extra room for long shipping times or delays. Then I’m all set once it’s officially time to start decorating!
