It’s reveal day for the bathrooms at Elmwood Lake House!
Both bathrooms were a full gut job. I ripped everything out, took down a wall in the primary bathroom to open it up, and started over with all new materials: warm wood vanities, handmade zellige tile, brass and black fixtures and soft white walls. Below are the before and afters, every detail, and everything I used, linked so you can swipe through and shop.
The Details
- Paint: White Dove by Benjamin Moore at 75%. Lightening the color by 25% keeps it from looking too yellow.
- Tile: Natural White 2×6″ Zellige from Riad Tile
- Floors: Vinyl Planks in Natural Elm
Primary Bathroom Before and After
The primary bathroom had an oak vanity, a wallpaper border and a tub with sliding glass doors. I removed a wall to make the space feel bigger, swapped the tub for a walk-in tiled shower, and added a dark wood vanity with an arched brass mirror.

Guest Bathroom Before and After
The guest bathroom got the same treatment. The old vanity and shower doors came out, and in went a wood vanity with a marble top, a rounded metal mirror, a wall sconce and a zellige tiled shower, all under the wood plank ceiling.
