Hi friends! I thought I would give a quick life update on the blog in case you missed it on my Instagram stories. Our little Lane Carter Staples arrived one week ago on January 23, 2023. We’re beyond grateful for a healthy baby and delivery. I’ll share Lane’s birth story soon! Kind of a crazy one but I’m SO happy with how it went. It was everything I hoped and prayed for!

Here is a photo from when Weston first met Lane! Weston is adjusting really well. He hasn’t skipped a beat! I prayed he would adapt well to this significant life change and God has definitely answered that prayer. Weston loves kissing his brother’s forehead and helping find his pacifier 🙂
Lane was 8 pounds 11 ounces and 20 inches long! A big boy like his brother.
I’ve shared in the past about my disappointment surrounding Weston’s delivery and postpartum time. I really struggled mentally and emotionally adapting to life as a new mom. This time around, I have been extremely intentional about putting my trust in the Lord and relying on Him to get me through pregnancy and postpartum with peace and joy. I can’t express how grateful I am that He has answered my prayers. I’m truly doing well in this postpartum period. Despite the challenges this season brings, I have slowed down and been enjoying every moment… all glory to God!
