Paint Colors I Used in Our Home

Rounding up the paint colors I’ve used in our house and lake house for you today! All these are very tried and true colors, so you can’t go wrong! If you do Swiss Coffee and White Dove at 75% as I did, you can pretty much guarantee they will look great in your space. Doing the 75% reduces the saturation by 25% so you don’t risk it pulling too warm on your walls.

Here’s each paint color as seen in our home! Be sure to test a large sample in your home before moving forward with a selection as lighting, flooring, and furniture will impact the overall look.

Benjamin Moore Accessible Beige

This is a great neutral greige/putty color. It would be perfect for cabinets or accents like these shutters! The siding seen here is Dunn Edwards ‘Whisper’ (flat), a true bright white!

Sherwin Williams Jogging Path

All of the doors and some millwork throughout our home are painted in Sherwin Williams Jogging Path (eggshell). You can see it in Weston’s room and our primary bathroom too.

Benjamin Moore Revere Pewter

The kitchen cabinets at the lake house are Benjamin Moore Revere Pewter (eggshell) and this is a tried and true putty color with more of a gray undertone.

Sherwin Williams Pure White

We completed a mini kitchen renovation many years ago when crisp white was on-trend! Sherwin Williams Pure White is a great color if you’re looking for a crisp, bright white without blue or yellow undertones.

Benjamin Moore White Dove at 75%

All of the walls and trim in our lake house are Benjamin Moore White Dove at 75% (eggshell). This color is right up there with Swiss Coffee as an all-time favorite white paint color! It’s a soft white with an undertone that leans more green than pink.

Benjamin Moore Swiss Coffee at 75%

All of our home’s walls, baseboards, and ceilings are painted Benjamin Moore Swiss Coffee (flat). You could always opt for eggshell for a more liveable finish! Swiss Coffee is a soft white that designers have used for years. You really can’t go wrong with this color! To be safe, mix it at 75% to avoid it pulling too warm in your home.

I know picking out paint colors can be daunting, but you can pretty much guarantee these tried and true paint colors will work in just about any space. Hope this is helpful!
