I received a Nordstrom gift card for Christmas, and despite my usual tendency to hoard my gift cards, I actually spent it this weekend! Whenever I go shopping I try to make sure and purchase quality pieces that will be an investment in my wardrobe. For me, taking fabric, cut, and color into consideration is essential!
I ended up adding two great pieces to my wardrobe this weekend when I bought this shift dress and the coziest pair of jeans. I could go on and on about the jeans (they are so soft, the perfect cut, and a great color) but today I’m talking about the dress! This dress is such a timeless style, an amazing price, and comes in 9 different colors! Today I’m sharing three simple ways to style it.

Definitely true to size! I’m 5’3″ and wearing an XS. The fabric is so amazing and versatile. I really think you’d love it! 🙂 Beach vacation sounds so fun!
