Christmas Home Tour

The holidays are such a magical time of year. Decorating for this season brings me so much joy and I look forward to it all year long! I can honestly coming home to a house filled with festive plaids and a twinkly tree are what my dreams are made of.

I’m sure many of you are starting to prepare for the Christmas season so I thought I’d give you a quick tour of our home and provide you with all the product links in one place. Make sure to tag me in your photos on Instagram so I can see how you’ve styled the pieces in your home!

Fireplace

As usual, I kept things simple with our fireplace. Mixing a faux cedar garland with fresh eucalyptus was my solution for a natural-looking yet manageable garland. The texture from the knit stockings helps to break up all the neutrals, and adding other elements like the birch wood and pops of black complimented all the white. I would love to add some brass candlesticks to the mantel to finish it off!

Living Room

Now that we have a cozy rug and Christmas tree in this space I just can’t get enough. After three years without a rug, I finally went with a medium pile Moroccan style rug that really warms things up. We also purchased a faux Christmas tree for the first time this year and I’m so glad we did. Our tree came in three sections and took about two minutes to put together! Don’t forget to fluff the branches to make it look like the real deal!

Bathroom

Bathrooms are easy to overlook when it comes to decorating, but adding touches of greenery and swapping out artwork can make all the difference! I designed this Merry Christmas sign and replaced our “Work Hard and Be Nice to People” once for the holidays. Such an easy and inexpensive way to change things up! I’ll be sending out the digital copy to all of my subscribers in the next few days, so make sure you sign up here to get yours!

Guest Bedroom

After remaining pretty barren for a few years, I finally designed our guest bedroom with the help of Overstock, Serena & Lily, and Winnoby Home! Everything came together so nicely and I’m so happy with how it turned out. I can honestly say I would recommend every single product in this space and wouldn’t change a thing! I’ll be posting a more detailed before and after post of the room soon so stay tuned!

Kitchen

I know I still haven’t done a full kitchen reveal, but this post can count as a mini reveal! I’m still waiting for our sliding door to be installed between the kitchen and the laundry room, and then it will be complete and I can share more details then! It’s been so nice having a pretty kitchen to cook in this holiday season. I’m so thankful for this new space!

Dining Room

We added a new table to our dining space not too long ago. It’s such a beautiful, affordable piece and I’m glad we made the switch! This year I paired a green velvet pillow with a neutral plaid to make the dining table feel a bit more festive. I hadn’t thought to incorporate pillows in the dining room before, but I must say I’m loving the look!

I hope you found some inspiration in today’s post and enjoy decorating your home for the holidays. It’s always my hope that the décor of my home sets the scene for many memorable moments. Creating a comfortable, inspiring atmosphere fills me with the joy of the season and allows me to embrace all this season has to offer. Wishing the same for you, sweet friends! Thanks for stopping by!
