New Art in the Master Bedroom

Design is an ever evolving process, isn’t it? When I designed our master bedroom last year I was really struggling to find the perfect piece of art. Do you ever picture something in your mind that doesn’t seem to exist in real life? That’s sort of how I felt! I ended up going with something a little more modern, opting for black and white which provided a great contrast to our monochromatic space. While i really do love that piece, it still wasn’t exactly what I had envisioned.

I was looking for a landscape of some sort, but didn’t want it to be too coastal. Something minimalistic, and subtle yet striking was what I had in mind. When I saw this piece from McGee & Co. I knew it was the one I had been searching for! Everything about it just fits right in with the style of our bedroom. I love the style of the print of the artwork, and the frame is to die for! The size is also perfect for above a bed, but could also be used above a console or sofa table!

Wha do you think?! Hope you love it as much as I do 🙂

  1. Hi there, I love what you have in your bedroom.its very calming and pretty… I have to tell you though , I ordered the bunch of olive branches but the day they arrived I opened them on my kitchen counter and it had little tiny black bugs inside.. I contacted your source to tell them but of course got no response back.. bummer. The bunch is outside in my yard waste can. Need less to say money down the drain , so I won’t order from them again. So disappointed.
On a lighter note, I think how you decorate is right up my alley and love what you do.. I think you are so sweet.

  2. Can you share the color of your walls? I’m finding whites hard to pick. Loving your white walls!

  3. Hi,
The bed you have under shop this room is that the exact bed that you have? I was looking at the reviews and people are saying it’s more of a grey than beige and yours looks beige.
