So excited to share the final nursery design with you today! This is just a sneak peek of the nursery reveal, but I wanted to post the design board with all the links for you since I know you’ve been waiting patiently! J If you saw my last few posts about the nursery then you know I was debating between a neutral or more colorful rug. I ended up settling on the neutral one for now… though I have been known to change my mind 😉 My reasoning really was just that I love to maintain a neutral base when designing a space, and then accent with various tones and textures. Also, since this room is carpeted I wanted something lighter and simpler to brighten the floor. If we had wood floor in here I think I would be much more open to a vintage style or colorful rug! The rug actually came in the mail TODAY so I will be sure to let you know what I think of it!
Everything is really coming together and starting to feel a bit more real. As of yesterday I am 34 weeks along and only have five days of work left! Then I will hopefully have a few weeks off to finish organizing things around the house and preparing for our sweet baby boy. This means I’ll have time to shoot and reveal the nursery in about two weeks once everything else arrives! Still waiting on some artwork, a floor lamp, floating shelf and décor. I will also be sure to review each product in that blog post. But I can definitely say that I have LOVED everything we’ve purchased so far! From the crib down to the curtains… it’s all coming together just as I envisioned.
