If you’ve followed my blog for a while you know I like to design spaces all at one time. Our office has been pretty much bare for the past four years and I’m so excited we are finally going to renovate it! Currently, Jordan’s clothes and a desk are about all we have in here. The clothes will be moving out and lots of pretty furniture and decor will be moving in! Here’s what the office currently looks like.

Flooring

We recently added new flooring to the office and it already looks so much better! We love our COREtec floors (Calypso Oak)

New Cabinetry or French Doors

I’m currently deciding between french doors or new built-ins. This photo further convinces me how awesome it would be to have doors in our office! Love the floors to ceiling windows here. Let’s in so much light! I really want to add doors, but it would limit our options for styling furniture and eliminate the back desk I was hoping to add. Jordan works from home so we both need a place to work! What do you think, french doors or built-ins and a back desk?

Paint + Shiplap

We’ll be going white, of course! Probably going with Sherwin Williams Pure White like most of the other rooms in our house. ALSO! I’m so excited to finally add some shiplap to our house! Thinking of going vertical for a modern take on this famous farmhouse look.

Closet Doors

Our contractor will be making custom shaker style closet doors for both closets. I’ll be using these to store office supplies, extra decor, and probably some baby gear 😉 Can’t wait to organize everything!

Furniture, Lighting, + Decor

The fun stuff! I’m currently working on the design for the office furniture and decor. Everything will be very minimal and modern. The foundation will be white and I’ll be accenting with lots of pretty wood tones, textiles, artwork, and decor.

I’ve linked some of the things I’ve purchased already or am thinking of purchasing for the office. That will give you an idea of what the design will be like, but I’ll share the design board soon!
