You might also notice I added this upholstered armchair, originally featured in our office, to our dining table as a captain’s chair. I am LOVING it! It especially works well without a rug because it adds that upholstered element which breaks up all the wood. Are you team rug or no rug under a dining table?
In the past I’ve had the olive and charcoal area rug under our dining table, so that’s why I included it in the roundup. It’s currently in our bedroom so we’re rugless in here for now 😉 However, I HIGHLY recommend that rug for dining rooms and high traffic areas. It hides wear and tear really well. Like, really really well!
