Office Shelf Design Board

I had so much fun creating this design board for our office shelves. I’d have to say styling shelves is probably one of my favorite things when it comes to design! The office is officially finished as of yesterday and I’m so excited to finally start styling it!

Here are my top three tips for styling your shelves like a pro!

Shelf Styling Tips:

Alternate Grouping Numbers

You’ll notice I go back and forth between grouping one, three, and five items a lot. Odd numbers work well together and make the shelves flow with each other!

Keep A Consistent Color Scheme

I prefer neutrals and love mixing black, white, brass, wood, and metals. All of these are a great way to add neutral color and interest to a space!

Books, Books, Books!

Books are an essential for shelf styling. I love these linen wrapped ones that I’ll be using in our office. Mine are set to arrive next Wednesday! Set them up or lay them flat to give the shelves a bit of dimension.

I’ve linked all the decor I’ll be using below. Just click on each item to shop! You can also read my tutorial on how to make a design board by CLICKING HERE. Stay tuned for the office shelf reveal!
