You may remember our exterior makeover from last year where we had our house painted and added a new front door. Painting the brick made such a big difference! And if you follow along on my Instagram stories, you also might remember that I was looking to buy a bench for our front porch. Well, I bought one… and it was BRIGHT ORANGE. haha. I did my due diligence of looking at all the online reviews, but still, it’s just not the right tone.

I’m setting that aside for now because we’re moving forward with some landscape plans! A landscape update is on my 2022 project list, and I’m really excited to get started. It will be so nice to add some curb appeal now that our house is painted!

Here is our yard in its current state, followed by my plans!

We’re going to add a new walkway, grass, planters, plants, shutters, and some lighting. It’s going to make such a difference!

Since we don’t plan on living in this home for more than another 5 years, we’re holding off on a full backyard renovation. But, we have one spot in our backyard that I’d like to update! This block wall has an exposed foundation, so I’m going to add a stack stone planter and trees to make it look clean and pretty!
